Keep Treats Healthy This Halloween & Boost Your Enzyme Action!
At Halloween time, we all like to let our hair down and enjoy some sweet snacks. But with all that boiled sugar and processed fats, our internal health can take a dive along with our natural enzyme action, opening us up to rapid aging, digestive problems and immune system problems. But Halloween can still be enjoyed by all young and old by incorporating healthy seasonal treats that have actual nutritional value. We can also boost enzyme action over this party weekend by taking natural enzyme supplements.

Vegetables come in so many shapes and sizes, so we can use them as building blocks! How about building a spooky skeleton from carrots and celery? We could use carved out pumpkins to house dip, and load them up with healthy hummus, salsa and yogurt.
Try making sweet potato chips or crisps instead of the factory processed fatty crisps we buy in the supermarket. Pepper strips can also be used for dipping.
Don’t forget that seeds and nuts are a traditional Halloween treat but are also high in nutrients- perfect for handing out to those trick or treaters and snacking on at your house party!

We’ve collected some more fun ways to make fruit into healthy Halloween treats. Try making some “Boo-nanas”.. dip peeled bananas in some orange juice and then roll in shredded coconuts to make ghosts. Add some small raisins are carob drops to make eyes and serve as ghosts!
