Too Much Caffeine Will Slow Your Enzymes Down!

We’ve been examining fatigue recently and looking at it’s causes. We already know that one result of having your natural enzymes depleted is fatigue: when you can’t properly release energy from your food, you’re bound to feel far more tired. There are other reasons your body could feel fatigue, however.

Caffeine

Avoid drinking caffeine in the evening. Caffeine may be great for providing a boost in the daytime, and some of us can’t do without our wake-up cup of coffee, but by the evening time our body is starting to wind down and prepare for its regenerative cycle. So drinking caffeine in the evening can prevent your body slowing down and regenerating. Caffeine is contained in drinks like tea, coffee, fizzy cola drinks and even chocolate, and it can cause restlessness and sleeping difficulties, which will only make you more tired the next day. As part of a cycle, this will make you need more caffeine to keep going, and hence your natural sleep cycle will again be disrupted. It’s best to cut don on caffeine if you are feeling fatigued.

Reduce activity

Believe it or not, those super-men and super-women on TV who can do a million things with their day are not real! We all get in the habit of trying to do too much. Excess demands can make you feel fatigued, and when you’re trying to juggle a job, family, exercise and friends, you may not get enough sleep either. This also causes higher stress levels, which will again fatigue you. Train yourself to get into a more balanced lifestyle. Make some time for yourself, and relax, learn to slow down.

When our bodies are under stress and running on fake steam like the effect of caffeine, our natural processes become disrupted. As our natural enzyme production slows, we can’t release energy from our food and this makes us even more fatigued.
